My name is Melissa Barrass and I am a Product Designer living in Newcastle, NSW.

I believe that design has the ability to empower, delight and create a more equitable society. Human rights and the environment are at the core of my design practice.

My approach to design is deeply human-centred, and I work across product strategy, user research, user experience design (UX), and user interface design (UI).

I love the challenge of understanding and designing solutions to complex experiences to create intuitive and meaningful products that people genuinely enjoy using.

Sewing the seeds of social responsibility in any team or community is my goal.
